Are you looking for a break consisting of cosiness, relaxation, fresh air - then why not live your childhood fantasy & stay in a treehouse on the edge of a sleepy village just 7 miles from Bath...
Last weekend I left London & travelled 2.5 hours (from SW London) to Bath - I wanted something different then just a standard hotel break so chose to book this treehouse as it looked quirky, cosy and cute - it was also very good value at £120 for the Sunday night ( booked direct through their website).
The tree house features;
Modern shower room/toilet
Powerful heating
TV
Mini Fridge
Breakfast Hamper each morning
Bath/hand towels
Hot and cold drinks
Country views
13th Century Pub 5 mins walk away
Well behaved dogs are welcome

Once we arrived we relaxed in the treehouse & sat outside and enjoyed the peace of the countryside with hot chocolate & marshmallows (which were provided as well as a selection of teas & coffee) . Later in the evening we went to the George Inn for Dinner which boasts roaring fires, beamed dining rooms, an ancient galleried courtyard and wonderful food. It was Sunday so of course we chose roast dinners - pork & beef both which had crisp potatoes, a huge yorkshire pudding, veg and lashings of thick gravy - & it would have been criminal to not enjoy a large glass of wine and the warmth of the open fire keeping us toasty.

The owners onf the treehouse provide a generous continental breakfast in the morning consisting of warm, flakey croissants, yoghurts, coffee, orange juice, fresh fruit and biscuits. As you can imagine - This was the perfect start to my day.

Check out is at 11 am - we then ventured into bath to have a look around which was around a 25 minute drive - this was my second visit to Bath - it's simply stunning with a wide choice of places to eat, plenty of shops & lots of history behind the city including the Roman Baths which I really enjoyed visiting on my first trip there.

Here are a list of places I reccomend visiting in bath;

https://www.jarsmeze.com/ (A lovely Greek meze)
http://www.society-cafe.com/ (I didn't get a chance to go but I''ve read good things if you want a coffee.)
