I get lots of messages asking which make up products I use so I thought I’d list my favourite ones here incase you wanted to try them out yourselves.
First of all I start off with The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 - you should add this to your (clean) face in the morning and evening as it’s really hydrating.
It’s also great value at £5.90 (30ml) - it quite lasts a while too as you only need a small amount.
Next I use the CeraVe moisturising lotion - I started using this last year as my skin suddenly went really dry & it really helped - along with their cleanser too. It’s suitable to use if you have sensitive skin and eczema.
Available in Superdrug & Boots - £9.50.
I use Iconic seamless concealer - which I put under my eyes & blend in with a beauty blender. It has a lovely texture and has good coverage. I bought this on www.cultbeauty.co.uk & costs £22. The shade I wear is Natural Beige.
For my everyday foundation I use this BARGAIN - Collection Lasting Perfection Foundation - it provides a light textured long lasting finish. I wear shade 3 - blended in with a damp beauty blender.
It’s ONLY £5.99 for 30ml. I pick this up in Superdrug and Boots.
My eyebrows are microbladed & I tint them using eylure dybrow kits & I also use the NYX professional micro brow pencil in brunette which is £9.
To highlight & contour I use the Revolution fast base foundation sticks. These are really good value & are very dewy & easy to blend. These are again another bargain at £5 each. I wear shades F13 and F3. I buy these in Superdrug.
To bronze lately I’ve been using a Becca x Khloe Kardashian palette which I got for Christmas and LOVE - I usually put this over my forehead, round my jaw and in the hollows of my cheek bones. I also use the blusher in this palette. It’s £32 pounds and I use the silver palette.
For an extra touch of highlight I also use Mac soft & gentle on my cheek bones & on the tip of my nose - I’ve been using this for years! This is £26.50 but lasts a really long time.
I get hybrid lashes (a mixture of classic & Russian) done by Demi (@dwlashed) who is a local, well trained Clapham based lash technician - I don’t know what I’d do without her! It’s £75 for a fresh set.
This is not my eye but look how gorgeous these are - an example of Demi’s volume lashes.
On my lips I wear MAC kinda sexy (£17.50) & a Rimmel liner in shade Tiramisu which is only £3.99.
I blend my make up in using damp real techniques beauty blenders - I grab them in Superdrug & you can get a pack of 2 for £10.
If I’m going for a night out I’ll use my Anastasia Beverly Hills Priam palette and use all the lovely browny, golden & burnt orange colours. It is quite expensive at £46 but the eyeshadows go on beautifully and really stand out. It’s a great gift idea!
Hope you’ve found this helpful and perhaps discovered a few bargains. Leave me a comment & feel free to ask any questions.
